What issues do these cars have that I should check out with getting a used 03 cobra? Is there any part that tends to break more on these than a regular mustang. The cobra I'm looking at has 40k miles. Or would you rather have an 03 Vette Z06?

From what I remember the '03 had a bit of a cooling issue on the rear of the heads, it's nothing a simple cheap mod can't fix. And the spark plug threads are not as numerous as those in the '04 heads. That's all I can help you with. Eventually one of the Termi owners will chime in and get you lined out proper.

....any 03/04 Cobra could have developed the head tick (If the car has no issue no, chances are it won't)...Over this winter when I had the Eaton off, I added the head cooling mod on my '03!!

...Ford changed the cylinder head on the '03 from a 4 thread to a 9 thread (all '04's had the 9 thread)...It would depend if the '03 was an early or late '03!!

Just look the Cobra over good, run a CARFAX and maybe have a Ford Mechanic look at it!!!
