Default Mufflers for 1999 cobra

Both My mufflers on my 1999 cobra have holes in them and I am looking to replace them. I don't want to do a whole cat back. I just want to fix the holes and give my car a little more aggressive sound. Will any muffler that works on 1999-2004 mustangs work, or do I need special ones because of the IRS.

The only ones I can find that say they work with the cobra are straight through mufflers which I fear may give me a drone when driving on the highway.

Thanks for help.

Here is the page I am looking at on American Muscle, http://www.americanmuscle.com/9904-m...-mufflers.html

All the mufflers on the site except the straight through ones say they exclude cobra. That is why I am a little worried.

oh thats what you mean by straight through...well you have to make sure the inlet and outlet match up to the stock pipes...they do need to be straight not offset but straight ones can still be baffled inside...i personally had the loudmouth 1's hated them to loud so went with the LM2's and perfect sound not to loud but good tone
