Default Anyone run FRPP shortys?

If so, what is your experience with them? Also, I can't find them in the online catalog. Are they discontinued?

Why would you want to? Shortys are a waste of money.

^^ i agree....headers should be one of the last things you do to your car...they are more a sound mod then a performance adder...get the best bang for your buck and get longtubes then a tune

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I have a 1996 GT with the 4.6L SOHC engine. The car already has an off-road H-pipe and performance muffler/pipes. The engine is bad and I am going to transplant a 1998 Mark VIII DOHC engine. To do this I will need to put some sort of DOHC exhaust manifolds from a '96-98 Cobra since the Mark VIII manifolds will not work. That said, in my search for Cobra exhaust manifolds, I came across a local guy selling a used set of FRPP shorty headers for $100. My question was to find out the quality of the FRPP headers or whether or not I should get these or wait for the stock Cobra manifolds. And will the shorty headers make the engine installation more difficult with the headers installed.
Thanks for the responses.

ah now i see lol....ive personally never messed with the FRPP's or even been around anyone with them...so i cant really speak on there quality...it will make it alittle more difficult to drop the motor in but its much easier to install the headers out of the car rather then once its in...youll have to jack the motor or disconnect the kmember a real PITA...so yes its worth puttin on before lol
