I have been thinking left and right about the "secondary" color scheme. Like for example i have my 06 v6 mustang thats red (d3 colorodo red used to be called firered) and the secondary is black like black rims, black painted on strip (that i did my self at my body shop whcih im proud of lol), black everything else. So my question is what should be my secondary color for the cobra? I have a Dark Shadow Grey color as you will see in my signature. Im going to start with the wheels so i am narrowing it down to chrome, black chrome, or just black. I already bought the black chrome bumper "cobra" inserts and like the color. So i might be leaning towards black chrome but i have always loved all black but i cant see it with black. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated and pics too.

That's a nice combo you have there!

Personally, I wouldn't want both my cars to have black rims... And while I do love Tim's, in general I don't like black rims on dark cars. I think the black looks great against the red on your 06, but on dark gray or black it can be too much dark, not enough contrast. But that's a matter of taste, I know some people love it...

So I vote for chrome on your DSG...

^^^ Can't go wrong with Chrome!!! ...With the new "Black" wheels, I just took off the DSG running Horse in the front of the car and replaced it with the stock Chrome Horse because the car looked too DARK!!!!

Thanks guys, i love the opinions. Tim i love your combination, the black looks good on the DSG but so does the chrome. Tough decision but i have time. keep em coming

Anything but "All" black. That on DSG gives the car a "Dull/Boring" look that doesn't pop!

Yea see thats my worry if i go all black on the DSG cobra. I mean dont get me wrong i love the way timspony has his. He at least has some chrome. I really am leaning towards getting black chrome.

i would love to text this idea if my car was torch red, burgandy, or prob all black. DSG i dunno. To me DSG is a hard color to really text on. But its a nice idea still, creative.
