Cobra motor tech info/assistance
I just bought a '99 GT drop top that has an '03 Cobra motor in it. I need basic info such as number of quarts of oil it takes. Oil suggestions. SC oiling? Where/how to check/miles before change? Motor redline.
It has 42lb. injectors. A 95mm Delta Force MAF, 2.8"upper pulley, Fluidyne heat exchanger, Prochamber mid-pipe abd Pypes mufflers. I was told it makes 470rwhp but I doubt it is that much but it is strong and brakes the tires in 2nd easily.
I would like to start a relationship with some guys willing to help with this set-up.
It has a T-45 tranny and I am not sure about the cluitch adjustment. It has an MM firewall adjkusyer and I thought the clutch was slipping so I turned it in a little and it seems OK but I can lift the clutch pedal with almost an inch of play there/normal? That's a start. Thamks, Mark
