2001 MUSTANG COBRA - IRS CROSS AXIS JOINTS
Hi all, I have the above Mustang with IRS rear end. The rear cross axis joints on both sides need replacing. I bought the parts from the USA and posted to Australia. My question is "How long should it take to remove and replace them in hours?"
Mechanics in Australia and no doubt any where in the world have different opinions as to how long it takes. Sure, they may have problems getting the old ones out or in. But what is the Ford Service book hours to complete the job?
Need all four replaced.
Have the tool to press the old ones out.
Just need an approximate time. Some say 4 hours and others say a whole day. Thats 8 hours at $140 an hour (one mechanics quote) Would do myself but not equipped enough.
Picture of the cross axis attached.
Cheers in advance.
