Texas Cruise - Feedback needed

As a day 1'er i am not feeling Houston, no offense to the LA crew but this has always been a Texas cruise, the three day event sounds appealing just that Houston is not very centrally located for the Texas MF'ers. MO tho.

A car show and cruise, I like it. The cruise, while may not be as exciting as the hill country, can still fun since it will be Mustangs cruising together. A cruise down to Galveston and along the Sea Wall and back up to Houston, or possible one up to the Sam Houston National Forest would be a nice little drive after a car show.
One thing for all the people not wanting to travel to the Houston area to keep in mind is that if this goes over well then the next one can be held in another region of Texas, but since the person/people putting this together live in and around Houston it will be easier to plan the first one in Houston.

However, anywhere we have it will make it difficult for one of the big cities folks ie. Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin etc.
So I was looking into making this a rotating event, this year Houston, next year near Dallas for example, etc etc.
Me personally? I would rather do it in Austin again, however, trying to arrange such a large event is just plain hard, so this is easier for me to do. Once we get an established organized event (the past ones have just been really big group meets), then we can change it up a bit.
I would hate to lose particiaption due to location, so I really hope everyone just digs in and makes the travel, so the more successful, the easier it is to move it around Texas.
