Cops in California used that as a "reason" to pull me over when they want to hassle me. But, they never give me a fix-it for it.

Thanks all. Think I'll just leave the bracket in the trunk in case I ever get stopped for no plate.

Don't know if your taking out of state input. Here in Northern IL where I am I haven't run a front plate since 2005. Never liked the way they looked on Mustangs either so still don't run one.

Been stopped a number of times but not one cop ever said a word about it. Mostly because I don't think they ever walked around to the front of the car to see it. *laugh*

I'm running one now, but I've been pulled over for not running one on a previous car. Only took a few days for it to happen once I got the car.

I picked up my plates last Saturday so I now voted "yes" on the poll. I think it would have been easier if Samm's dealer had installed the front plate bracket.

I just picked up my plates today. I'm glad they didn't mount the front bracket on my car!

I've always wondered about this as well. I currently don't have my plates from the dealership yet so I got nothing in the front. It sucks though cause the holes are already in the front bumper where the previous owner had it mounted, so I guess when I do get them I'll put it on.

I'm still treading ticket territory, got mine in the windshield for now.

Bought the car without holes drilled and no bracket (pre-owned in 2010). I've had the front license plate in my backseat for 3 years now just in case I get pulled over (I'd toss it on the front windshield) but I still haven't been pulled over for it. I'm sure it'll happen today on the way home, since my inspection still says February 2013.
