Lightbulb 2015 engine info by Automobile

Automobile preview info for the 2015 model:
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=609

They say there'll be 6 different engines?!

No more 5.8L for GT500 because it won't fit.

hm...a turbo V6 thrown into the mix would be interesting but I would have to see it to believe it.

So according to this article the N/A 5.0 will be for the Boss 302 and the "mainstream" cars biggest engine will be the 3.5 crappo boost. So no V8 for the GT?

Sounds like a struggling magazine fishing for subscribers by releasing some BS on a really hot/widely speculated topic. But who knows...

Honestly that lineup seems a bit fishy too, how would they have enough of a power discrepancy to necessitate the 3.5 V6?

If the new 5.8L from the GT500 won't fit in the engine bay, is the twin turbo 3.5 that much smaller?

So a Boss 302, which was a limited 2 year run car, is just gonna magically reappear in 2015 with the only n/a v8 option?

I don't think this is accurate, no way they are bringing back the Boss again in 2015 this takes away from the limited production line it's supposed to have. I have a hunch that we might see a Mach1 again before another Boss or even a Bullitt Mustang.

As far as that new design I personally do not like it. Does not say Mustang to me, it says hi I am trying to look like a CLK that mated with a Focus....

Yep but they could bring back the Mach 1, it's been gone for about 10 years now. However I do think most of this article is speculative and written by someone who probably doesn't really know any inside info.

Personally, I would like to see the return of the "Twister Special Mach 1"

Don't think they'll bring back Boss again this early, unless they were thinking of offering it in every generation now going forward.

Might have no choice, since they want a global design that appeals to both US and Europeans.
