Default Front suspension?

Everyone talks about the rear suspension, but what's going in the front? McPherson again or can we hope for an SLA setup?

Wow, that is a nice find and actually makes me interested in the S550 chassis design.

I am disappointing it had to come from Australia though, seems like that is where a lot of suspension ingenuity evolves today. Lazy Yanks...

Thanks for posting

Well as far as the suspension coming from Australia, I think it's a great thing actually. Ford did the intelligent thing and took something that was already proven and tested with the Control Blade IRS and improved it. Hopefully, this CBIRS will be made with lightweight aluminum and spaces the springs out further for more spring travel.

Personally, I think the V6, Turbo4, and 5.0 Coyote suspension will be a derivative of the Fusion IRS set up. The CBIRS will be optioned on the V8 and standard on any higher tier models like a GT350 or Mach1. I doubt you'll see v6s rolling around with this advanced IRS set up that's probably costly. For the volume models, they'll take the Fusion setup, for the performance, they'll use the CBIRS.

Just my $0.02.
