2015 Mustang What do you think ?

You know it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. She still looks like a Mustang, and if they bring back a Mach1 with the style I may trade in my 2013 5.0. It's not the ugliest Mustang they have ever made so its a win.

Here's my thoughts.
*) People that loved the Sn95 styling will likely love this car as it shares a lot of cues with that generation coupled with some slight styling cues of the S197.
*) People that love the S197 retro style will likely not like this car as it shares cues of the S197 but reverts back to a more edgy streamline design.
*) People who say it doesn't look like a complete make over must not be looking at what I'm looking at as this car, inside and out, looks completely different. The car must carry Mustang heritage, meaning it must keep some tradition styling cues (which the 05-14s kept very close to the original design), however this car breaks away nicely from the retro design without going so euro (reference fox platform) that it doesn't loose it's Mustang heritage.
Now my own thoughts, I like the design and I think it will definitely grow on people as more options come out. I think the inside is a little too busy with all the buttons but it is cool to see them go back to the dual cockpit design of the SN95s.

Not bad but not that great, as said its more of a refresh that shares recent design cues. Don't think its worth trading in for, yet. The new power would be the only major point for me. Don't really like the rear quarters or the front/hood with all the lines. I had hoped it would be smaller to. Im sure it will grow on people though.

I personally like the new look, the rear end has a more european look to it almost Porsche looking. I love the fact that the car is more level with out the raked stance that most people go and get new suspension to get rid of anyway.

I would say ask yourself what your opinion would be if this had aston martin badging on it? Its hard to do anything that hasnt been done before, so its easy to say that this looks like this or has cues from something else. As the Vanquish is my dream super car right behind a Ford GT...I would have to say it's grown on me.
If you go to the third set of pics, you can change colors and wheelstyles. http://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/201...mustang-reveal I do hope they offer the fog lamps in the grill like we have now which I think would make this ominous as heck! The pic of the red one under "The Design" heading (4th down) shows some better perspective on the size of the car and Im glad it doesnt look smaller.
I won't trade the Shelby, but now, Im thinking that I hope the wife enjoys her vert for a while cuz that's probably getting sold/traded in.

The stance looks pretty good, will appeal to the newer/younger crowd. Not sure if I like it yet....not rushing to get rid of mine thought, in fact, I'll keep it!
... no longer a muscle car....might as well buy a ***** car like a Mercedes or a BMW.
This is the thing with the Mustang...they gave you a base car that you can drive as an everyday commuter, or transform into a ****ing beast of a muscle car....don't see that here.

Been waiting for this day so I could make a decision on a 2014 or 2015, and I think I'll be getting a 2014 in the next month or two. I like the '15 okay, but I don't love it anymore than I already love the '14. I'll definitely look at the '15 in person though. From certain angles, the rear end slant doesn't do it for me.

I think it is "ok"...no real WOW factor there. It now joins the ranks of other cars that have the same look...no longer unique but more generic...it will now be a Mustang that brings to mind another car...I am VERY HAPPY I have the fleet of cars I have...they will always be Mustangs and only bring to mind Mustangs...not Accords or Fusions...Camaro etc.
