Default S550 mods...

Hello... New to your forum and to the mustang...

Sold two motorcycles and bought a 2015 mustang gt premium w manual transmission. So far I have tinted the windows and put a borlo ford racing cat back on. Purchased myself a nice radar detector too. Lol... My list of things I'm planning to do keep growing and growing. On tap is the Roush hood scoop, verde wheels, lowering springs, grill, possibly a racing stripe.

My question is should I consider a strut brace as on of my next mods? Do I need one or are they just for looks?

I swear I had seen on here some kit to black out the marker lights. Anyone got a link to that?

Thanks for a great forum. Lots of good info here.

The strut tower brace doesn't do much. Post some pictures once you get her all dolled up with the visual mods. I'm hoping that MMD offers the side and hood scoops that are on the foose/American mucle give away car. I really like those.

Yea I do remember seeing a thread about blackouts for side markers, but I thought the blackouts for the third brake light were what was cool, good luck if you look it won't be hard to find.

There is a ton of company's that offer the marker light black out kit. American muscle, RPI designs, late model resto, etc. a quick google search will point you in the right direction. When my 2015 shows up the first mods will be CAI and a tune and some tint.

with your choices so far I don't think you care if it's "just for looks."

Are all the scoops on this car fake like previous ones? Some of them look nice but I can't get over how ricey they are when non functional.

The two heat extractors on either side of the hood are functional. That's really the only scoops mounted on the car from the factory.
