This is pretty much the case for every new car it seems. Every forum I've been on for the stupid amount of cars ive swapped out in the past couple years have all said the same thing. In some cases aftermarket CAI are actually worse for the car because they are sucking in the hot air from the engine bay .

If it doesn't have a provision to draw in air from the front of the car or on the outside of the fender it's not a CAI. It's a tube with a filter on the end.
