When I was shopping for stripes I spent a lot of time online and calling installers. From this research I believe Avery Supreme Wrap will be the longest lived. They are the only Company to offer warranty on horizontal surfaces.
I hope I'm right.
Looks nice, I like the single big stripe, and also how it flairs and then adds the two narrow ones over the top and back.
And what is opi-coated, some type of wax, or paint protector.

Opti-Coat is a semi permanent sealant. 5 yr warranty, no need for wax the entire time and should continue to shine like this. makes washing really easy. I have had it on several vehicles and really like it.
I don't understand why the OE optional stripes fade in the front and back.
I'm excited to get full Shelby-size stripes in gloss black on my soon to be delivered Deep Impact Blue GT.
Nothing to understand, it's just a style like everything else! Actually I was surprised to see the stripes! I thought the "Build & Price" picture was caused by glare & they were sold gloss stripes! DUH! I had the gloss black stripes on my last GT, & I like these on my 2016 GT better. Shelby stripes look great too! To me, these stripes have a more subtle look especially with the contrast between Triple Yellow & black. When you see them in person, they don't break up the lines of the car as much in the front & rear.
When the 2015 Mustangs came out, someone on this forum said that you had to see the new model in person to appreciate them. I didn't get that point until I saw one in person. Each time I saw the new Mustang I liked it a little better. I find these faded "Over the Top Stripes" the same... but it's all individual taste. I had to see Triple Yellow in person a few times too! Originally I was going to get the Ingot Silver... but I'm happy I got the Triple Yellow even though it cost more!
THANKS TO FORD I had to spend a few hours getting something that looks like a "water marks" off the vinyl stripes. I suspect the installer spilled something on the stripes as there are no water marks on the paint & one of the marks seems to go along the edge of the stripe. I had to use toothpaste as a fine rubbing compound to reduce the marks without hurting the stripes! I finally got it to the point it's not noticeable except a little under florescent lighting. It's irritating to "pay extra" to Ford to give me a problem, but I don't want to take the chance of getting the stripes replaced & get even worse damage done to the car!
