Default 2016 with/without "Decklid Spoiler"?

What is your opinion on whether or not to order the Decklid Spoiler on the 2016 Mustang, or to order it with the "Spoiler Delete"? I've not seen any 2016 Mustangs with the "Decklid Spoiler" on local lots, so.... I wondering whether it might be a pain in terms of washing & waxing while adding very little to the car, because the Spoiler seems to be very close to the Decklid???? I like the look of a moderate spoiler, but I'm not sure the 2016 adds anything to the looks!

Opinions, Please? Should I go with the Spoiler Delete Option?

Mr D.

I personally prefer the factory spoiler delete. I have a 15 GT. with the PP and spoiler delete. I do not believe that the factory spoiler does anything aesthetically for this car. I am waiting for the MMD V-Series spoiler to hit the market. For me it just completes the back end of the car. Hope this helps.

Thanx Phantom for the polite response,

I think I agree! I don't see why they changed it from earlier spoiler types. The spoiler on my '08 looked good & was high enough to clean & wax under. I wonder if getting it with the factory spoiler makes it easier to install an "after market" spoiler by having holes drilled etc.? I guess I might have to ask a manufacturer of an after market spoiler.

Do you have a preference of an after market spoiler?
Are there any after market spoilers that come color match painted? Wouldn't that make it easy?

Thanx for your response,

Mr. D

Finally saw a spoiler on a 2016 today! It's OK!

Default 2014 DIB 3.7 w/ sport shift "Blue Cyclone"

Great, I am looking at aftermarket spoilers myself, but my 3.7 looks ok, huh?
