When would you tune?

Thanks for all the info guys. I wasn't trying to argue with the advice y'all are giving me- I'm just saying from my school of thought, which comes from LS1s, the main things to start off with was exhaust to help with flow and hp and an intake to let the engine breathe better.
I'm all ears. if the intake is good as is then i'll just change out the filter and leave her be. I guess 2.5 inch it'll be considering it'll save me a few hundred bucks. and I do realize the power comes from the removal of the resonator (weight). I'm not messing with the cats because I don't want to tune it this early on.
I was actually looking at the roush website to price the cost of sending her back in but i think i'll spend my money on her slowly starting with exhaust and since no CAI is needed then i'll be looking at either some lowering springs (recommendations on brand and drop height?) or maybe a roush spoiler/side scoops.

1. Others will disagree as always, but there are precidents on waving warranties. Ford has to demonstrate your mod caused the failure!
2. Ask the local dealer's Service Manager how warranties will be handled. They go from "any mod kills your whole warranty idiots" to my local manager saying "if we see no signs of abuse we cover the warranty." I just talked to my local service manager again as I'm ordering a 2016 & will put a supercharger on it! Now the fact I'm a 73 old retired school teacher might make a difference! If I was 23 with tattoos on my neck & a ring in my nose I might have gotten a different answer! Unfair of course.... but human nature!
I put a Roush Supercharger on my Mustang & the tranny started to make a noise. It was simply a bad main shaft bearing. They replaced the tranny in warranty with no problems! If a person beats the car to death & blows something they may refuse to fix it! They didn't sell the car to be raced & flagged to death!

As for the Corsa Extreme/Atak, extremes and ataks sound extremely similar to me, so again I'd caution against the extremes. I just purchased a set of the sports and they are the best of all worlds. Nice muscle car idle, growling at street speeds, and Nascar at WOT.

Stop making up stuff that's not true. 2.5" exhaust will not be a restriction at 500 horsepower and just changing mufflers won't do squat.
