Default What are you planning on doing to your Mustang?

Hoping to recieve my 5.0 by Christmas:

Black ext/Ebony int
401A
Performance Package
NAV

I plan on doing:

91 Oct Tune from Brenspeed or AM (CAI doesn't seem to be worth the extra $350 or so strictly performance-wise IMO)
MBRP Black 3" Race Cat-Back http://www.cjponyparts.com/mbrp-cat-...-2016/p/CBP35/
Headlight/Taillight Blackout http://www.northamericantuning.com/2...93-gt0994s.htm
Oil Separator
Maybe replace the front PP wheels with rear PP wheels and go 275 at all four corners

A CAI on these is money flushed down the toilet.

You gain a few ponies from a cold air intake. I dyno'd 392WHP with a CAI and SCT tune. It did 385 with just the tune. You wont gain anything but sound from a cat back.

I'm adding a Roush Supercharger & maybe a few more black vinyl add ons on the lower side panels because I might not recognize it in a parking lot since it will be such a dull looking, old man's car!

GT Premium
Triple Yellow
Auto Trans
Ebony "over the top" Racing stripes
Dark Saddle Leather seats
Equipment Group 401A
Reverse Parking Assist

You talk like changing out the stock exhaust is a foreign idea...

Sorry, I like to hear the roar of that V8

Soooo. I wanted to run a Catback exhaust system. So is that a waste of money? I was going to just remove The resonator and place an X or H pipe in its place. Is this not a good mod? I'm not trying to add noticeable horsepower and torque but I do want it to sound more like a mustang.

Adding a catback exhaust (thus eliminating the resonator in the mid pipe and replacing the stock mufflers) will make a huge difference in how the car sounds.

Lots of audio samples here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/2015-m...k-exhaust.html
