I'm going to ask you one more time. How does having the hood open allow more air into a CAI like the one I own in the picture above????? Air flowing over it doesn't do ****! It has to actually flow into the intake to find it's way into the throttle body! Look at the photo posted above before you answer!

Just admit you have no actual experience with any of this and move on. Your posting one thread of people arguring that contains one single timeslip that belongs to a total stranger. That's 1/100th of a second slower. LOLOLOLOL the better sixty ft. in the faster slip can account for more time then that. You didn't take that into account when you posted your undisputable evidence did you? If thats the best you have to offer you shouldn't weigh in on things you know nothing about. Where is your slips before and after? I can post a dyno sheet of my car with a before and after run! Can you? Or better yet. Post a slip that belongs to you that's faster than the slip I posted and then you can say I wasted $400. Got any time slips at all? Nope and lastly if CAIs don't work. Why did Ford put one on a GT350? See photo below. Sure does look like a CAI to me.

You should try a custom tune next, really makes a difference from just a canned tune
