The newer Mustangs are much better comfort wise over the older ones.

My 2005 is twice as loud interior wise. On my newer one I have b/u camera, much better headlights, interior is much nicer, braking, I could go on and on.

I would go with new one if I were you. Speed isn't everything. If it's a daily driver you will enjoy the new one so much more...

The sale is mostly to get rid of 2015 stock of other models like the Edge, etc.
Correct and incorrect at the same time.
Yes, they are pushing old stock with the sale, of course. However, the package I listed above for a 2016, prior to the sale, started at $41k, now it's starting at the ~36.5k range. You won't find a same-packaged 2015 GT for much lower, and the 2016 would be worth a tiny bit extra for the Sync 3 over the My Ford Touch interface.

I agree Spork!

My salesman friend said he couldn't do as well with this last sale as the price he gave me on a order & besides around me there are no cars on lots I want! Getting the great deal on a Mustang sitting on a lot is not so easy, because the next guy coming along will likely "finance" a higher price! Buy a 2016 & we'll compare who got the best % discount on a 2016! Hope you do great! Love mine!

Got a 2016 back in October, I leased though (just like my 2013 GT) so we can't compare (I lease because I never know what Ford's going to do in 3 years and I'd rather be able to hop to the next pony if I like it)

Old:

New:

The steering wheel on my 2013 felt better, more "leathery" and "thicker", but otherwise I love my 2016 better in every way. Handles better, better sound system, better infotainment, the automatic feels a lot better, the "stance" of the car is better, the ride quality is a bit better, it's more fun to drive... Plus I had leather and Nav on the 2013 but no heated seats, so I love the heated/cooled seats on the 2016 too

I've also seen quite a 07-10 GT500s and RS3 in that price range as well. Of course with all these cars they have low mileage. One that particular caught my attention is an 09 white vert with 20k for $28k.

Which would you guys choose?
We have put our fully loaded 2015 GT up for sale! It has 2300 miles and we are asking $33,000. Call 805-486-6644 and speak with JR for details.
