New car leaking brake fluid
My 2 month old GT is leaking brake severely to the point where It's leaking down from Max to Min every 3 days. It all started last weekend coming back from Houston when I had to slam on the brakes and the ABS kicked in and the brake warning light came on. 3 days later the fluid had leaked down and I brought it to the dealership and they didn't find anything.
I made another appt with dealership for Monday morning and they will keep it all day to check it out better to hopefully find issue.
Oh yeah 2200 miles total on car and you would expect that a high performance car could take slamming on the brakes without having an issue.

any car can have a problem with a part, mustangs are no exception. have them find the problem and fix it. a leak is a leak, and will be simple to find. fluid doesnt just vanish. however, a small leak that results in fluid loss over a long time, can be a bit harder to pinpoint than a leak that results in a puddle under the car and a brake pedal that goes to the floor, give them time to find it before you get frustrated

One of my friends just found the leak coming from the clutch pedal on the inside of the car. My carpet and floor mats are saturated with brake fluid and you can see it dripping now that he spotted it. I'm wondering if steam cleaning the carpet will be good enough or what will need to be done with them.
Now I'm getting frustrated.
Now I'm getting frustrated.
