Because some people with automatic transmissions will rest their left foot on the brake pedal. The slight pressure can glaze the rotors and pads and lead to squealing.

Just got my s550 back from Ford today for this. They machined the rotators all the way around and it took care of the noise. Well one day in so far and haven't' heard a peep yet.

Was there a TSB for this?

There is a TSB for the 2015. I have had it done twice now. This last time was 3 days ago and no noise.

I think there is a notice for the pads on the 16's, which mine already had. It's kind of hit and miss from what I can tell. One dealer told me that's just the way the brembos are. I wasn't really happy with that answer so I took it to another Ford dealer close to me, they had no problem diving into it and trying another solution which was to machine all the rotators. I've drove her three times now, no noise at all.
