Default Anyone have a problem with sloshing gas?

So ive noticed during normal city driving that when to come to a stop and start moving again there is a thud in the rear of my car. Almost sounds like something shifting around in my trunk. The sound has various loudness and sharpness but its consistently the same sound. I have about 3/4 of a tank of gas. When at a full stop i can just barely hear fluid sloshing back and forth. Could the gas in the tank shifting be the cause of the sound?

yes, could be. especially if it seems to be correlated with fuel level. I get that in my Ranger when the tank is 3/4 full or higher.
