Default Gauge brightness

I must say, I'm not overly impressed with the brightness of the gauges on this car. Even at max brightness, the colors dont really pop. Red seems to be the brightest one, which is unusual to me. I would think blue or white would produce more light. Is anyone else noticing this? Or do I have faulty white (RGB?) LED's?

I haven't noticed any issues with brightness. Seems just the right amount. If anything, my wife will reduce the brightness when she is driving at night. 2015 GT Premium.

Hmm. Interesting. I'll try to get some pictures of mine. I'm not certain they're as bright as I've seen others in videos and pictures. I'll have the shop check it out. I wanna get my steering wheel straightened, and my right exhaust hanger adjusted anyway.

Snapped these pics last night. The blues are more vibrant in the photos than in real life. Not necessarily brighter, but more vibrant.

These are all with the brightness at max. I stress though, the blue does not look that good in person.

It could just be the pics, but mine are way brighter than that on my 16 GT. I would suggest you take yours to a dealership and have them look.

AH HA! I knew it. Thanks for the reply. I'll have them check it out. The pics are actually brighter in most cases than the actual gauges.

Even worse at dawn or dusk, when the lights are on, but theres light outside. The backlight is virtually invisible. I think the white is pretty much non-existent. Now if only I could get my local ford dealer to return my calls so I can schedule an appointment...
