Air Bag Light after Steering Wheel Replacement
2015 GT - Replaced Stock Steering Wheel with SVE model. Everything went without a hitch. Now have air bag light. Thought I would again disconnect battery, remove and reinstall air bag and see what happens. Any other ideas? Thanks.
Further update - This car also has Recaro seats. I understand steps need to be taken when replacing factory seats. This car came from Ford with the Recaro seats. Read somewhere that pulling and replacing the airbag fuse would correct? Any thoughts.

Looks like I solved my own issue. Forget all the crap about the seats and resetting the air bag circuit.
I popped out the air bag again last night and looked it over very carefully. Two main connectors have a locking tab and on one the tab was not 100% pushed in to the final lock position. Secured all connections, replaced air bag, started car, and light went out after a few seconds. Hope it stays that way.
For anyone thinking about changing the steering wheel, this really is an easy Mod. Huge improvement in Looks over stock.
