Repair job was 384 this time.

I bought some FOX Urine.
Amazon Amazon

and sprayed that crap all over the car port and everywhere else.
I am putting peppermint oil under the hood.
I sprayed anti rodent spray on the wiring.

The housing office is finally coming out to spray their own stuff and possibly set up traps.

Amber rust proofing spray is suppose to help too. I will spray that tomorrow under the hood.

The owl is probably a good idea too.

I survived 1 night so far...

Tonight is going to be cold . Fingers crossed that my deterrents will work.
Also, set out 1 trap next to the wheel Planning on putting down 4 more traps tomorrow.

strangely, this is a very common problem. How good can wires taste? I've heard drier sheets work but be careful where you stuff them because they will burn.
Forget the owls,it only takes a few days for them to lose their efficacy.
Good luck.

update.

So far nothing has chewed up my wiring...

I am used mothballs under the hood and peppermint oil.

The fox urine didn;t seem to work...

Just hoping nothing comes back for more chewing.

I also leave the light on at night which brightens up the whole car port.. hopign that keeps them away as well.
The traps have failed to catch anythign yet..
there is also a box of poison that they can run into chew on.
