Okay. I don't recall editing that. I'm curious, how do I see my edit history? I went in to edit because flickr had double links and each pic was showing up twice, either way... I have 1" spacers.

No. The instructions and none of the install videos say that the studs needed to be replaced with longer ones. I went off of this install video

I'd think if you changed to longer studs on the car, the wheels wouldn't fit onto the spacers. I'll look into it being a safety issue, if it looks like it'll be an issue, I'll remove them. Where did you hear of it being an issue?

That is a decent kit for what you did because it eliminates the issue of the studs being too short to capture the lug nut which is where most of the safety issue comes in. The other aspect of safety comes in from moving the weight the bearing has to carry farther away from it. Back in the day and in some circles still today, guys would put deep offset wheels on their cars and trucks because it looked cool. Some were so deep they actually stuck out from the fenders creating the obvious problem. I've actually seen a wheel break off from the hub on a car in front of me while driving down the interstate at 70 mph. The axle/hub failed. You'll probably be just fine. I'm an old fart who errs on the side of caution anymore.

Makes perfect sense. I'm an old fart too. I was nervous doing it but from what I can tell, it seems like it'll be fine. I don't race any more and my car will spend most of it's life in the garage.

I don't think that you can see what you edited.

No problem now though, you have 1" spacers. I agree that it could be too much so you may want to keep an eye on things. Being an older enthusiast as well, I remember the days of "chrome reverse" wheels and the problems that we had with the wheel bearings by pushing things out further.

I'm going to keep an eye on it. I was just asking about seeing my edits because I wasn't sure if I still had some mod "privileges". I know on another IB forum I'm a mod on I can see all that stuff.
