Default Anyone replace factory HID bulbs with a different temp?

Hey guys,

Looking to see if anyone has replaced their factory HID bulbs with different ones? If so, was it easy? Im interested in putting some 6000k bulbs in my new car

Make sure the bulb has a 'R' suffix. It will have a metal shield around the bulb that creates the correct cutoff and light pattern.

If it doesn't have the shield, the light pattern will be crap and it will shine into oncoming drivers faces making you more of a target for a bored cop or just a plain target for annoyed people.
