Default Bought a new 15 GT annnnd it's messed up.

So just got this car (2015 GT m6 black) 2 Thursdays ago....noticed this on the passenger roof seam... the dealer offered to repair it. (Said they would have to strip the roof take the back glass off and side window and the whole quarter panel will need to be stripped as well...) needless to say I'm not happy. I'm not ok with a 30k+ car that needs body work. (Almost half the car will be repainted)...the dealer said they would replace the car but can't find a exact match on my car....anyone here with advice/help...they said I'll have to swith colors or change the options of the car. (Increase my loan ummm no thanks) grrrr...

I would let them fix it, my Mustang needed some paint when I got it, dealer GM drove it till I bough it, my sisters Audi needed some paint touch up, and my brother in law's Mercedes also had paint flaws.
Or let them try to find you a different car, but really not a big deal either way, never sweat the small things in life.

I had a problem with a Dodge truck due to damage done prior to sale & secretly repaired! I took the truck to a different dealer & got an estimate of cost repair that had been done. A lawyer said "You don't need me! I'll show you how to go to State DMV & shake them up. The amount was too high & gave me a case to take to the State DMV that grants their sales license. They treated me like crap until DMV contacted them & then.... they got me a new car that was the 1st of a new model. There is only a certain amount of damage they can repair & still sell it as new car.

Get a second opinion from another Dealer as to how hard it will be to get a 100% repair, & then do what is best for you. If they can fix it easily, why make it a problem for yourself or Ford. If not, tell them to order you a new car!

Good Luck!

I would let them fix it. Honest dealers will give you a lifetime warranty on repaint job.
