Big Problems with Bama Tune
I'm totally freaking out over my recent Bama Tune install in my 2016 GT.
I followed all the instructions with updating Tuner when it came in the mail then this morning I attempted to tune vehicle. The tuner went through all its changes and when was finally complete and it told me the tune was installed all HELL didn't break loose.
The car wouldn't start.....It just sat there as I kept pushing the start button and nothing would happen. I realized I was getting a message in the info center of the car that I needed to push in the clutch even though I had the clutch pushed in and that scared the heck out of me. BAMA what did you do!!!!!!!!
After several minutes of trying to figure out what was wrong I got scared and decided to put the stock tune back in the car.
This part really pisses me off now because once I put the stock tune back in the car now I have a "SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT" that will not clear.
Thanks alot BAMA!
I tried clearing the DTC but I'm having no luck.
It is a PO 315 Crankshft Position System Variation Not Learned.
How do you like that?
I have contacted BAMA and they are going to work on it but until then I have to drive around with this service engine light on afraid to bring it to my dealership.
I can't believe I spent over $750 with American Muscle on a CAI & a Tuner and all I have is a service engine light to show for it. I'm just glad I didn't install the CAI.
