Default The Mustang doesn't come with a spare tire?

A $30,000 + car doesn't come with a spare?

A lot of cars now come with no spare unless you order it as an option. You get a can of fix a flat instead.

ive had to use this pump before. its alot easier than changing a tire and it works well. my old shelby had a valve stem leak, and this thing sealed it up and i made it to the tire shop for a fix no problem.

The tire inflation system that comes with the car, I'm told works very well.

the factory 20 in wheels would make a spare with the same diameter too large to fit in the trunk, ford gives you sealant and an inflator kit instead. bc lets face it who the f wants to put a chitty looking spare on any way, plus technically they are limited to 50 mph for a short distance. so if you have a flat and want to fix it correctly you would head directly to a shop and fix/replace the tire anyway

Agreed with the above. Most two doors and sporty cars now come with the repair kits or run flats. It's not really a new practice even full size trucks come with donut spares now go figure. It also helps save weight those spares and jacks/tools weigh a good bit.

I haven't used a spare tire in years.

Last time I used one I wrecked my car and the fender was rubbing on tire so I used the donut because it was smaller and didn't rub. Car was still driveable.

I miss my 2001 GT with it's full-sized spare
Seriously though, very few "$30k+" cars come with spares/donuts these days AFAIK. BMWs, Lexus, Audis, Infinity, etc all come with run flats and/or repair kits.

I ordered the spare...but then, I'm a geezer. If you take any decent care of your tires, you will never blow one out. Much more likely to get a nail or screw in the tire, and the inflator kit would work just fine for that. In fact, I'll probably buy an inflator kit. The small spare will destroy your limited slip differential in short order, if you install it on the rear, anyway.
