Default 15-16 Roush Turbo 0-60

Been looking for any Roush Turbo performance numbers for '15-'16 Mustang GT's and can't really find anything. It's so tempting to go the turbo route but for some reason there just aren't specifics available. I know the HP and Torque numbers are outrageous but a qtr mile and 0-60 would be nice. Either a turbo install or an official Roush Stage 3 would be helpful.

Thx!!

To my knowledge it isn't a turbo but rather a supercharger, 670HP worth. Expect it to be 1 to 2 seconds quicker which doesn't sound like much but it is. I have one and the car is a rocket.

Good to know... Yes, it's a supercharger. 1 to 2 seconds puts it solidly in the 3's so very good to know. I guess the magazines won't test mods but man, Roush should put some numbers up.

It's not going to reduce the 0-60 numbers by 1-2 seconds. If you can launch it though it will improve the 1/4 mile times by about that much.

I don't think you will find out what a 5.0L with a Turbo or Supercharger will do without a lot of modifications like big, sticky tires, new stronger axles & the traction control completely turned off! Mine is an automatic & will only do 0-60 in about 4.5 sec., but it is very obvious it can't launch properly without those modifications. A "rolling run" from 35 to 100 mph tells you that the power available is missing at launch. Also I almost always have the windows up, so it took me a while to hear the tires slipping even in the upper gears at 70 mph. I don't race so I don't care, but a standard GT isn't set up for the best launches & quickest times! It's set up to keep you on the road under a lot of power & .... to keep you from killing yourself! My Supercharged GT is a monster in Sport mode when running around bends in the road, or when you downshift a couple of gears in the regular mode & hit it! Sport mode keeps the RPM up & the Supercharger gives you instant power! Not a car for the immature! YIKES!
