Default 2018 S550 Mustang shown off

Link to video of new active quad exhaust in action: https://t.co/yR4Wp0uuF6 <- Sounds amazing IMO.

In summary...

-No more V6 option (Ecoboost or V8 GT only)
-Increase in horsepower to both the Ecoboost and GT, though no numbers have been given yet
-GT 5.0-liter V8 gets both port and direct fuel injection
-Ford is increasing the GT's compression ratio from 11.0:1 to 12.0:1 (this will increase power and fuel efficiency).
-Ford's & GM's new co-developed 10-speed automatic transmission will be offered (Ford/GM claim that it outperforms the dual-clutch transmission in the Porche Boxster in regards to shifts)
-The GT Performance Package is getting Michelin's new Pilot Sport 4S tires (Ecoboost stays with the current Pirelli tires)
-2018 Mustang GTs will be offered with an optional active exhaust (this allows you to control how loud the exhaust is, similar to the GT350)
-Ford has lowered the hood by around 20mm
-A new lower rear diffuser
-A new decklid wing on Performance Package models (which looks fantastic IMO)
-A slight change to the taillights, they are seemingly more rounded into a crescent-like shape
-New 12" gauge cluster which can display a digital speedometer
-Option for a heated steering wheel (OH THANK GOODNESS! )
-MagneRide magnetorheological adaptive dampers will be available on both the EcoBoost and GT Performance Packs (similar to what's found in the GT350)
-Performance package will be offered on convertibles as well as automatic transmissions (previously the PP was only available on hardtop manuals)
-A quad-pipe exhaust system replaces the current dual-pipe unit

The new exhaust sounds phenomenal. I'm expecting anywhere from a 35-70 (or more) increase in stock horsepower, which will put the stock GT anywhere from 470-500+bhp.
I leased my 2013 GT knowing that Ford was changing the style for 2015+ and wanted to see how I liked the new stylings, I then hopped into a 2016 GT and leased again as I heard that Ford was going to change-up the engine in 2018 or 2019... In short, I'm glad I leased both. I love my 2016 GT but one of the things I dislike is the lack of a heated steering wheel, I also wished I got one that has the adaptive cruise control. I plan on purchasing my next Mustang, and these next models look to take care of everything I wish I had in my 2016 and also will increase the power/speed of the car while giving an amazing sounding exhaust from the factory... Plus I kinda want to grab a convertible for my next one as I greatly miss the 2001 GT Convertible I previously owned prior my 2013 GT.

Default

More info...
-The digital gauge features "MyMode" with memory function, this means it'll remember the modes you had selected prior to shutting the car off (ie: in the 2015-2017 Mustang if you had the car in Sports Mode and shut it off, starting it back up would default to Normal Mode, "MyMode" means it should start back up in whatever settings you had previously selected)
-New driver-assist features such as Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection (I'm personally glad it will offer these safety features where the car can auto-brake if it senses a collision is about to occur)

Also, here's a comparison of the 2015-2017 body style to the 2018. I personally do not understand why some people are complaining about it as it looks very much the same, but with a much-improved spoiler available and sleeker front headlights (I'm unsure how I feel about the curve in the taillights).

Here's another clip of the new exhaust in action:

Here's a trailer of sorts, the 50 second mark shows off the new digital gauge cluster (personally, I love it ):

EDIT: Is there a board code to embed YouTube videos? If there is, please let me know and I'll fix the videos, I didn't see one listed in the code-section of the forums.
