Anyone hardwire a dashcam yet?
I was thinking about hardwiring a dash cam that my mom bought me for Christmas this last year. My thought was slaving from a constant power source in the rearview mirror area. Anyone done something similar? Thoughts or suggestions? I wanted this to be S550 specific hence posting here. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I plan on hardwiring my camera when the weather warms up. Best I can tell, they leave room for you to feed wires. There are empty spaces on the wire cover by the mirror, perfect for a cable to run through, and the headliner looks like it's easy to run wire behind. I plan on having everything connect under my passenger side dashboard.
