Definitely a GT!!!
Well, after driving a used 2015 GT the other day I have to say.... that thing has some serious pony's under that hood! I am definitely putting the new 2018 GT on my dreamers list. Especially since the house gets paid off in 6 MONTHS!!! WooHoooooo!!!
Keep in mind, I am a 47yo guy who has spent his life driving old Jeep XJ Cherokee's, an old 5.7L Suburban, and my wife's old Toyota Corolla to work everyday. I was used to going 0-60 in about 3 days. And to top it off with icing, this 2015 GT had the 6spd stick tranny. I haven't driven a stick since my old Jeep 20 years ago. It's amazing how after about 30 seconds it all clicked back in, like riding an old bike. It was a lot of FUN!!!! I watched a video in YouTube of a guy testing the new 10spd. EcoBeast, I think is his name. Nice fella. Anyway, I noticed when he showed the dash, the tranny had a tendency to search around for gears quite often. I assume this was in the attempt to attain efficiency. However, it was a bit irritating. Is the 10sp tranny really that worth it? Especially if I drive it on the highway mainly as a daily driver?
Now, here's the issue. The insurance company quoted me $131/mo for insurance. I'm used to $50/mo for a Corolla, $80/mo for the new Subaru Legacy, and about 10 cents for a 20yo Suburban. Is $131/mo a bit ridiculous?
In a few months when the money is available, I can't help but wonder if I shouldn't get the Stick Shift?

Not a chance. Classics are great, but I really want a brand new one that I can break in on my own. Then, I can do all the maintenance from the get go. It will be mine, and only mine.

No. No it is not.
The gearing ratios are perfect on it and it shifts instantly. In sport mode it knows exactly what to do based on the throttle pressure it receives. It’s the best automatic transmission I have ever used and I’ve driven Porsches with their DPK.

How do you have a factory warranty on it? I'm assuming that's a Roush kit so the warranty would be from Roush, not factory (Ford).

I can't find a feature for that. All forums usually have that. My typing tends to really stink.
