Default Roush Supercharger Dyno Numbers

Dyno numbers are in for my newly Roushcharged 2016 GT. Had the shop put the car on the dyno before installing the supercharger and after. These are on 91 octane gas.

Before: 360 hp/342 ft-lbs
After: 513 hp/464 ft-lbs

So, +153 hp and +122 ft-lbs

Nice. Isn't that version supposed to make 650 HP? That would be 552 at the wheels at the usual 15% drive train loss. Never the less, still good numbers and I know it feels much better.

91oct isn’t helping. Im guessing this this the 670 kit with Roush tune.

Yes, 670 kit with Roush tune. 91 is all we can get around here, so maybe a custom tune will help, but not really necessary for my daily commute. The stock tires really need to go though because full power is not yet usable and I would like to see what this thing can really do when there is some open road available.

Are you going to install half-shafts or do you have them on already? Great numbers!

I might do half shafts, but they're probably not necessary until I get new tires. I also need to fix an exhaust leak.

Think you'll need half shafts with that power? The stock ones look pretty beefy to me, though I don't have forced induction. What tires are you planning to buy? Stockers definitely need to go! Time to attend a burnout contest, eh?

I was thinking Michelin Super Sport or 4S, but I have seen that some people with superchargers having to run drag radials (I'd rather not, if possible). Frequent burnouts is when I would require the upgraded half shafts. Maybe I should upgrade the half shafts and do frequent burnouts to get the stock tires to wear out faster so I have a second excuse to upgrade the tires. Actually, I probably don't really need any excuses to upgrade anything (if I had a financial advisor that I actually listened to, I'd be driving a Prius).

I have Michelin Super Sports and love them, so much more grip than the factory BFGoodrich tires. I've heard good things about 4Ss also. I think bias ply drag radials would make a big difference at the track (shave off that ET!) and on the street (good luck!) I've steered clear of them so far, but I have not taken my car down the 1/4 yet. Depending on how much it spins when I do, I might put some drag radials on my factory wheels.
