Default stereo upgrade

New member here with a stereo upgrade question. I have the base radio and have seen the complete upgrade kit to the factory touchscreen from a few different companies, but at almost 2K its cost prohibitive. I found I can source the parts through ebay for a decent price...obviously the $2K kit is plug and play, but would the needed connectors and harnesses be readily available through ford? Is this a fairly common mod that they sell what would be needed.
I was also told to check out a company called Seicane. While their units look interesting, for every good review, there's a bad one to follow it up. Has anyone used their product for a real world review? Thanks.

Eonon sells an Andriod radio for ford. I have one, does everything.

There is another company that has them too, lot more expensive, but
has digital controls for the HVAC and stuff, pretty neat.

I paid $180.00 for an Eonon unit, and I am happy with it. Woke up the
entire sound system, then I upgraded the 6x8s, even better. I am
content with it now, and probably won't have to do anything else to the
sound system.

checked out their site, nothing available for the 2015 and up. I tried the ask a question button, and kept getting and "I don't understand the question" response.

Mine was not for my car either, so I used the harness adapters, and install kit. It's like
installing an aftermarket radio, and is much cheaper. I paid $250 total, for the radio,
harnesses, antenna adapter, and install kit. The rest of it was TIME wring it.

You can always buy the FORD radio for that car, for the premium models. Check eBay
and so forth for people selling theirs, for whatever reason. Call a ford dealer and see what
you can buy one for.

That’s why I’m here asking if anyone has upgraded to the factory touchscreen and how readily available whatever needed harnesses and connectors may be. According to ford, it can’t be done, but obviously if there’s more than one company selling complete kits to do so, it can be. As stated in the original post, I can find the factory parts...it’s the harness and connectors I’m looking for information on. I’d really prefer to keep it as close to factory as possible.
