Post Buying Advice

New to Mustang Forums and would like some buying advice. Looking for a newer mustang convertible (S550 I think) that will not be an everyday driver and want 0-60 speed and a good looking ride. My question is where to start? Would it be best to buy a 2015 GT V8 then add aftermarket extras as I can afford them? Buy a 2017 GT V8 taking advantage of year end models with 0 to low miles then adding extras? or build and buy a new 2018 GT V8 with all the performance packaging offered? I don't mind building on and taking my time so any other suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks for reading.

You can get fairly substantial discounts on 2018s now. I’d highly recommend going with an 18 optioned with Magnaride as the ride quality is very much improved by it.

Definitely get the 2018 model if you can. The 5.0 V-8 is very nice and has more HP, and the 10 speed auto is getting very good reviews. Also, the manual is improved for the '18 model year.
I can tell you that the stock suspension without the performance pack handles corners extremely well..
