They still make the Hertz Mutangs...aka Shelby -H cars but they are only on the GT line. Not the V6 or Ecoboost. They also had one for the 2005 or 2006 Mustang GT

GT-H actually means Heritage Edition, not Hertz edition, but Hertz gets them, as I also
said, as part of Ford's rent-a-racer program.
Just didn't see the 2016, and only 140 of those.

In the age of turbos before bearings were cooled via engine coolant, I would agree that it was advisable to let the engine run for a minute or two before shut down. Now that we have cooling I don't think that is really necessary. I run about 22 km on the highway on my commute and then about 3 km on secondary roads, usually trolling in traffic between lights. I never wait to shut down as the car has had plenty of cool down time anyway. If you have been hooning it up on the highway and live right at the off ramp, maybe, or if you are tracking the car, do a cool down, otherwise, no need.
And my observations on the boost gauge is that I'm out of boost much more than in it. On the highway commute, if I give her the gas, yes, but typical cruise speeds are not in boost. But everybody drives differently so YMMV.

One of the few advantages of the electric water pumps in BMWs. The pumps on their turbocharged engines continue to run for a few minutes after the engine is turned off to keep from cooking the oil in the bearings.

People that shut down turbo motors right away forget about one major thing...heatsoak. Certain parts of the engine and connected components will continue to absorb heat or rise in temp for a little while after the engine is shut down when there is no cooling available. My wife's turbo beetle will keep the fan running for up to two minutes after the engine shuts down to keep cooler air flowing and reduce the amount of heat soak. If our garage door is already closed it gets to be like a convection oven in there as all of that heat is transferred from the engine bay to the ambient garage air.

My '15 TSI, the fan shut off when I shut off the car. The only VW I had that kept the
fans running when I shut the car off, was the '14 TDI (diesel) that I had, and should have
kept. Neither the '13 2.0 NA car, or my current '15 TSI, do the fans ever run when I turn
it off. '14 TDI, yep, plenty of times the fan kept on going after I turned'er off.
Regardless of the what and why, every turbo car I've owned, or even driven that was someone
else's, I idled a minute before shutting the engine down. It's good practice, and better to be
safe than sorry. I will be at 174,000 miles by next Wednesday.

EDIT: Nice try though.

I was reading something about it, and I saw a GT-H that said Heritage on the dashboard plaque.
I see GT-H as Heritage, and Hertz. I must be seeing things, but that's what I saw. Is there a
separate HERITAGE edition?
