It's been going on 10 weeks & I am getting anxious as I haven't heard anything from Ford or my selling dealer !!
What's been you guy's experience with ordering either a '18 or '19 GT
Some things that the dealer warned might slow build; 1. P.P.1 - 2. Nickel plated 19" wheels, - 3. B&O radio - 4. Magna-Ride suspension.
Is there a way I can check with Ford to get an idea on when it might be delivered or be in production ?

PS. FYI = I'm getting Kona Blue, Convertible & 10 spd. Auto

Your dealer will be your best source of information. All the Fords and Chevy's I've ordered were delivered within 8 weeks. Our BMW X3 was ordered and delivered 3 weeks to the day, something about BMW efficiency that American car makers just can't match...

No, not a Peep from dealer or Ford.
I'm the kind of guy who hates to bother people, or complain.
Maybe Sat. or Monday i'll call & speak to the guy who ordered it for me !!

I'm hoping to get it before it starts freezing here in mid-west as I've been cautioned about these summer only tires.
A couple of friends asked why I was parting with my 7,200 mile Ruby Red beauty. My answer Stupidity & the new options that has intrigued me !!

March into the dealer and demand a full refund. see how fast that fire lit under their asses flares up! Ive never ordered a car, because living in Phoenix, theres more than enough selection for what im after, unless it was something wild and out of the norm. Best of luck to ya, and post pics when its in your hands!

When you order with your own specs of packages you want in it, it may take anywhere from 90-120 days that's what I was told when I was about to order my 2019.

I'm assuming 16 weeks for a similar order I have planned (PP1 / MagnaRide / Active Exhaust). I've been waiting since August to place the order (after all, why have a car with summer performance tires arrive in New England in December?), and I'm thinking sometime soon for a target delviery around April. I'd be interestedin hearing what may be holding yours up.

Well guys my Dealer finally emailed me a .jpg picture he took with his cell phone, along with his note saying My Stallion will go on the Assbly. line @ approx. Jan 7 2019
This equates to me as i'm probably going to be a happy '19 Mustang GT sometime in Jan, which I think is close to 4 1/2 to 5 months after we ordered it.
I'm trying to be patient, but "Holy Smolie" that's a long wait !!
Like Zooks said i'll be driving this home in middle of winter with summer tires....

ps; the pic he sent is unreadable for the Vin# area [Poor quality]
my wife has some picture & paint editing software so maybe so can make it readable...

Do you live in a small town with a small dealership? Sounds like your dealer gets very few allocations to me.
