Default Air bag light

Anyone have any ideas?
2017 V6 has been back to the dealer 5 times totaling 5 weeks in the shop for this light coming on. They "fix" it only to have it come back on in a week or two. Very frustrating! I no longer know what to do because it won't pass the safety inspection next year. I am getting very tired of the car going back and setting for weeks at the dealer. I guess I will try another dealer next week. Anyone had this problem?

Thanks,
Howard

SRS light should not be a fail for inspection... If they are failing because they see the light, then
unplug it.. That would cause it to come on anyway... The car is in warranty, they have to
fix it. If you take it back in for the same problem so may times, and it's not fixed, that
it may covered under the Lemon Law. SRS is a safety issue, if this condition will
cause the air-bags not to deploy in in accident.

As early as '90s Fox Mustangs, the connector underdash feeding the air bag light contained "shorting" contacts, which caused the light to illuminate even if the connector was disconnected! My '93 Cobra, which I bought with a crunched RH fender and front end, had deployed the bag; it was cut away, and the hinged door siliconed back shut, couldn't tell it by looking. I inserted needles into the offending connector, to fool the system, light stayed off forever. No bag. imp
