2.3 eco boost... Whats the deal?
Looked at a 2017 coupe with a 2.3 eco boost.. I have heard of them, but I know nothing about them... my 08 convertible has a 4.0
Wha`ts the consensus on them?

2.3 is the Turbo 4-cylinder, about 310 HP stock. The 3.7 VVT is about 310 HP.
Your 4.0 is 210 HP. My '07 Charger 3.5 was 250 HP, the 4.0 'Stang is disappointing.
If I were to buy again, it would be the EcoBoost... That, you can dump more
boost into, and get a lot more HP from them. If not, then a 3.7. Not that I
don't want a 5.0, just don't want the low MPG... I almost had a '12 3.7 V6
for $4800... I am keeping my eyes open for another deal like that... It was
an "R" title, but I looked at it, got under it, it was excellent. He started it
at $10,500, ALL the way down to $5000, then $4800, and I missed it...

I have a 2017 EcoBoost convertible and really enjoy it. My past Mustangs included a 2006 with the 4.0 and a 2013 with the 3.7. The EcoBoost has a lot more than the 4.0 in stock form, and there is much more available aftermarket for the EcoBoost than either the 4.0 or 3.7.
