Rattle under car after X-Pipe Install
 

Hello Mustang Family,

I just had a SR Performance "Cut & Clamp" x-pipe installed on my 19 GT and under normal or hard acceleration I can hear something like a metal rattle. Nothing was welded just used the factory ford clamps on the front and new SR clamps on the back.
I jacked up my car last night and checked all the clamps and they are tight. I banged the exhaust with my ratchet and could hear a small rattle from the rear side of the x-pipe (with the SR Performance clamps). Should i just replace the clamps? Have the entire thing welded? Thoughts?

Did you remove the exhaust damper(s) if there were any??:confused:

I have the active exhaust still on the car. I checked the valve dampers in the pips and it's not coming from there. I'm going to jack it up soon and play around with it. I will keep you posted.
