Talking FORD Performance reply regarding transmission oil

I messaged FP today to see if they would tell me what they use for transmission fluid in their school cars and they did. With a quick reply btw. Their reply was "Castrol BOT 350 M3 75w".
Couple questions to the forum - Have any of you used this in your mustang? Is this stuff really that good or does Ford have a contract of some sort with Castrol...
I'm coming up on 16k in my 2017 GT pp and was thinking about changing oil. I don't have any transmission issues, so would like to keep it that way. I do occasional autocross and track days.

I never heard of that in a transmission. Are you sure they didn't mean engine? The GT350 uses that viscosity of oil titled under Motorcraft and the dealer is the only place you can get it.

The dealer is NOT the only place to get other 5W50 oil though...

I corrected the information in the original post and this is what they use for all of their mustangs "Castrol BOT 350 M3 75w".

75W in an engine? That sounds like tranny or diff fluid.
