Default What does it take to smoke a mercedes clk 55 amg?

There's a guy I know of and he owns this car. He advertises it all the time and has a big mouth. Does anyone know the kind of HP I'd have to make to smoke that car? It is supercharged and a Kompressor V-8. I have full exhaust and a cold air. I'm planning on upgrading to a procharger P-1SC kit really soon. Does anyone know what I would have to do to beat him?

p1sc will do it if he hasn't changed the pulleys and running a lot more boost. They're rate it at 367 I think

Kompressor simply means its supercharged.

just throw on the procharger just to not take any chances.

actually I was told that kompressor means that the air before it hits the supercharger is already "Kompressed" so when it hits the supercharger it's even MORE compressed then before. I could be wrong but that's what I heard.

thats still the same thing pretty much, just making it easier on the s/c to do its thing. yea gte a Procharger or whatever supercharger you want and tune it with i'd say at least 380 at the wheels just so you can put a few lengths on him. assuming the cars weigh the same.

will this be a roll or dig race?

If dig mean well be standing still before we take off then yes. Are my chances better on a rolling start or in a stand still?

Your gonna need a REALLY big crack pipe for starters. I think that some of the plastic parts will be pretty toxic, so I don't recommend smoking those.
