alright so i am making about 425hp now and my buddy was giving me some **** telling me i still couldn't touch his 490AWhp evo RS. now i have RLCAs, subframe connectors, and MT ETs. I told him he was right from a roll... but in the 1/4 mile if he gave me a 6 car headstart (pinks style) he would not catch me by the end. he said he would for sure, when it warms up here in MN we are going to do it for fun. what do you guys think? remember he has a 4kRPM power band, mines only about 3k. i have no personal quarter mile times with this power yet as it is still 30* up here.

i believe you just answered your question right there. more power, less weight. he has to be running a fairly decent sized turbo for nearly 500whp, but he's more than likely got a much better powerband (a turbo will do that for ya). i say Evo on this one.
Yeah, but 6 cars...if hes making the power he says he is, I dont think the evo will catch him with 6 cars in a 1/4 mile.
Yeah 6 car lead is quite an advantage.
Do you both have forged internals? I didn't there was a way in hell a Evo could handle nearly 600 crank horsepower.
