NHRA approved use actual measurements I think...from what I have heard the weather info posted online uses a corrected peice of information that skews results... the barometer I think, maybe humidity. One of them is pre-corrected though...

meh.. just an update on this guy.. his currentt mods:

Fox-Lake ported heads,Comp Stage2 cams (127500),ARH Longtubes w/OR-X,Meziere EWP,Steeda Underdrive crank pulley,Steeda Race CMDP,C&L Racer CAI,39lb Injectors,TCI 3500 stall converter,4.56 gears,alum D/S. With this combo my car put down 352/352 to the rear wheels on a Mustang Dyno.

and his sig has this for a time:

12.13@111.63,7.72-1/8,1.71-60'-Stock 17" Wheels


pretty sweet for N/A automatic... some are getting into low 11s N/A now too..

H/C/I (W/e happened to that FAST intake manifold for the S197?? They were talking about 20RWHP gains) + Bigs and littles + Full Bolt-ons(4.30-4.56 Gears) + Aluminum D/S + tons of weight reduction(Back Seat, racing battery relocated to rear, spare pulled, random holes chopped in the frame, etc.) + Every imaginable suspension mods.

That should be able to pull high 11's, maybe mid 11's with a good driver. :P

I've never seen a 3v peg in low 11's N/A though... That is nuts!

one guy got an 11.7 with

livernois stage II heads 127500 cams, long tube catted x, race plates, cai, 4.10s. on 275/40/17 drag radials on the stock rims. that was shifting at 6500 rpms
Only weight reduction on the car, K member, race a arms and the spare tire is not in the trunk

and he has more mods planned for getting lower. Someone else with a more extreme build (and 4.56s) has gotten an 11.1

here is a quote from another guy:

"Mods:300+ lbs weight shaved,jlt cai,u'd pullies,headers & full exhaust,alum. d/s,livernois stage 2 heads,hotrod cams,custom tune,3000 stahl,mt dr II's 305/35/18, lower and upper c/a's,k member,sway bar delete,anti squat brackets,a-arms,braille 15 lb'er,4.10's,stock bottem end

With those mods I went 11.67 on a 1.6 60'. Our da that day was 2700'So yeah I think a couple may hit 10.90's on a n/a setup.I think when Rich,lightens up and does that other stuff,he will be one of them."


so he ran a corrected 11.22.. thats right.. fear the N/A stangs as well

it was on the stock rims but he had MT Drag radials, i believe 305/17.
