Lmao, damn 302, that does suck! That seriously makes me appreciate the elevation here at 300' ASL, lol!

hehe I'd drive to a lower elevation track if I could... in CO you should be able to make a day trip (12 hours or less) and find a track closer to sea level.. we are 7 hours from you. head down to AZ... pass through Flagstaff.. see how 7800ft feels.. thats where I'm from I wonder if kansas or nebraska have any decent tracks? it's flat there should be easy to build one

Meh, if he learns how to launch/shift properly he can hit 12.6-12.8 with his list + DR's.

Brendon from Brenspeed ran 12.8 in a CAI/Tune + DR. Gears will knock even more off, especially if he has LCAs or UCAs.

I'm not saying I can dump the clutch at 3.5k rpm without spinning or anything, but I made a few hard starts on the way home and it didn't light up the tires like my Mach with 4.10s did. This car transfers weight ten times better than the Mach. The tires that are on it are KDWs. I'm pretty confident I'll get a sub 2.0 60' as is.
Check out some Ryken Raptors... Best bang for the buck and they are street tires!

Thanks for the tip K-Town, I'll definitely check into those tires. I went ahead and ordered some LCAs tonight, but it still appears as if DRs (or some sort of stickier tire) are going to be a must. I put my foot in my mouth when I posted that I was confident of achieving sub 2.0 60's.

ive thought of it, but only way id do it is if i traliored the car, and my truck is a POS and i dont have a trailor. My luck id drive 700 mile's, and blow my rear end up.

ive done that math through atleast 8 different elevation calculator's.

my car would run low 13's n/a, and low 12's on the spray as it sits right now. I still have a long way to go. (still have 100% stock suspension, no subframe conector's, stock head's, and a weight of 3250lb which is "heavy" for a fox)

I plan on moving back to florida in about five year's.

back on track....

hope to see video of these race's and of the car on some sticky tire's!

good luck
