Default 0-60 with 1/4 times

Anyone know if there is a way to figure out my 0-60 mph time with the use of my 1/4 time slip?

http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

Give it a shot. There are a ton of calcs on that site. None of them are 100% accurate, of course. My car goes 0-60 in 2.2 seconds....one full second faster than a Diablo....ftw!!!11!

My car does 0-60 in about 4.5-6.5 seconds, so I think that's a 13.9 quartermile.

It gives me 5 plus or minus a couple tenths. Semi believable at the track, but certainly not on the street.

It's pointless really. I'm assuming you want to know your 0-60 time so that you can compare it to magazine times. Remember that magazines do not obtain their 0-60 times at the track, so you will see faster 0-60 with the same vehicle at the drag strip then you will in a magazine. Way more grip at the track. Especially if are not using street tires.

I know with your previous 7.65 1/8th, that would be 0-60 in about 3.2 seconds. I ran a 7.67 and got a 0-60 in 3.23 seconds, 0-70 in 4.21, 0-80 in 6.1(car would not shift out of gear), 0-90 in 7.4. I hooked up the G-Tech meter while I was at the 1/8th mile. When calibrated right, you'd be suprised how accurate they are. I ran a 7.67@88, while the G-Tech said I ran a 7.68@89mph. When I ran a 13.1@105 quarter(before Vortech), the G-Tech said I hit 60 in 4.7 seconds. Hope this helps.

I've always wanted to experience a 0-60 in 3.5 (or less) seconds.... in fact last night I had a dream I was driving around in a z06 haha. Apparently my mind didn't want to get in a zr1 for whatever reason.

0-60 is pretty meaningless.

I actually prefer 0-60 times more than most other times simply because I dont go to the track and I like accelerating hard down freeway ramps (although not always 0-60, sometimes more like 10-60). And if you ever race someone from a light or something and know the 0-60 stats on what your racing then you can figure your chances out better than a 1/4 mile time since most "street races" dont last for a full 1/4.

Just my opinion though.

What are not taking into consideration is HOW the 0-60 is measured. Just like 1/4 mile times from magazines, 0-60 times can be all over the map. Also I don't consider a Gtech or a ap for your Iphone to be very accurate (yes I know people have "tested" them at the track).
