So there is this guy on my street with a 96 gt. He told me that my cobra is fake, slow as hell and his 4.6 kills 5.0s all day. I want to race him to shut his tweeker *** up. all that i can tell his car has is a descent exhaust system. that's about it. my cobra is bone stock. Who will be the winner?

The '96-'98 GT's are SLOW!! Really a disgrace to the Mustang IMO. I used to hang with/outrun them in my '97 Maxima. I'd bet a boat that you'll win.

If that non PI 2v is stock, then that boy is smoking crack. Your car weights less and has about a 40rwhp stock vs stock advantage.

my cobra, stock h/c/i, stock trans, stock gears. street tires, 70mm tb, UDP's, BBK equal length shorties, BBK O/R x pipe, and MAC 2.5" pro dumps.

I was turning 253rwhp, 294tq, and ran the 1/4 in 14.0 @ 101.
I was lowered, so that significantly hurt my 60' times. There is no reason, with the above mods, you cant hit 13's... and embarass the **** out of that 4.6 weakling

Those are good #'s for just bolt ons. My buddy just had his 94 Cobra dynoed recently. It has Trickflow heads & intake, E cam, full exhaust, tb, udp's, and custom tune. His #'s were 282 rwhp & 314 rwtq.

yeah those are some good numbers for just those bolt ons, im at a similar range now, 260hp and 300tq, still have yet to race ANY cobra, 5.0 or 4.6.
