2010 Camaro 2LT versus 2010 Mustang GT

I'd be pretty happy if they would just shove the 5.0 into the GT. Remember, the Bullitt/shelby/Mach 1 were cars that, at their time, were meant to fill in a huge power gap between the GT and the SVT/GT500 model, but if the 5.0 goes into the GT and the price doesn't really move, holy ****.

i mean, unless they jack up the GT500 prices, the price cant go up ALL that much...but i still expect it to be more expensive. A smooth transition would be something like this, and if you think about it...this could happen...
during the middle of 2010, ford offers a new trimline with a 5.0 between the GT and the GT500. they call it something like the Boss302, and in they continue to produce 4.6L models, but at the end of the model year, they drop the boss name and the 4.6, and make the 5.0 the standard V8 in the GT.
or, if you REALLY want to get dreamy about what could be...how about at the same time as the 5.0 boss 302 comes out, they also release the first ecoboost V6 mustang. they call the ecoboost the turbo gt mustang, so much like the old school lineup that have different performance levels, you could have the turbo gt, the regular gt, and the boss302. you still have the 4.0 base model, and depending on the sales of the ecoboost models, you can either kill the turbo gt models and keep the 4.0, or kill the 4.0 and make the turbo gt the base model mustang.
you heard it here first...

Your prediction seems pretty close to what I was expecting. Although I was thinking more along the lines of the Mach 1 for the new 5.0L.
